Troiku: Olive trees

Olive trees
branches in the wind
sway gently

Olive trees
blossoms of soft white
sweet fragrance

branches in the wind
caressing evening breeze
fading light

sway gently
in the cooling dusk
olive trees

This is my first attempt at troiku. Troiku is a new style of haiku created by Chevrefeuille. You can find out more here http://chevrefeuillescarpediem.blogspot.co.nz/p/troiku-new-form-of-haiku.html  The base haiku is one I wrote.

  1. Interesting concept and one to explore – I love the Haiku in its current form, and the opportunity it offers to capture a moment in a word rendered image – I think of Haiku as word painting 🙂 Ideal for poetry “on the go” 🙂
