The Collector

Strike when the moon is down
He lives only in the darkest of nights
He seeks the forgotten, the lost and the drowned
and locks their souls in his heart of ice

They say he was born of a star
Of a child’s dying wish in the dark
to be remembered when she was afar
in a land where there was no light

When your blade meets his flesh it will burn
There will be pain in his violet eyes
But the souls of the lost will spill free
and live on in the endless night
