Every year in Auckland we have a lantern festival to celebrate the Chinese New Year. For two nights the park lights up with lanterns of every shape and colour, and the night comes alive with music, dance, food and activities. These are some of my favourite lanterns.

  2. Wow! Such beautiful and creative lanterns – the imagination to conceive them and then the amazing work to bring them to life! Double wow! Thank you for your photos, Isabel. They all look so cool….all lit up. .My favourite is the person in the hat harvesting…..rice? 🙂
