Digital Art: Chibi Ghost

November 11, 2025 / Isabel Caves / Leave a comment

Inspired by Halloween, I drew a chibi ghost. He loves music. It’s his heart and soul.

Digital Art: Curtains

November 9, 2025 / Isabel Caves / Leave a comment

This is a digital charcoal painting from an intuitive abstract art session. It’s the only one I actually liked. On a positive note, I’ve decided I’m fond of charcoal and goauche, in addition to acrylic, oil and watercolour.

Digital Art: The Future Arrives

November 8, 2025 / Isabel Caves / Leave a comment

I was so tired the night I painted this that I originally titled it “Girl and Cat Watch the Arrival of the Future”. The new title isn’t much more imaginative, but it’s an improvement at least.

Photography: Floral Haunting

Another ICM shot. I like how this rose looks like it has a ghostly veil.

Photography: The Secret Life of Roses

November 6, 2025 / Isabel Caves / Leave a comment

This is one of the few ICM images I’ve taken that I’ve actually liked. In low light conditions, when other types of photography are likely to be challenging, I like to experiment with intentional camera movement.

Prose: Little Rose

November 5, 2025October 25, 2025 / Isabel Caves / Leave a comment

Hold on, little rose. The garden will grow without you. The sky will blue without you. The earth will turn without you. Hold on, little rose. Hold on.
