A little comic I drew in Procreate. I added the text in Canva.
There’s also an animated version on Instagram. I’ve embedded it below, but the embed *might* not work in the WordPress Reader… if you can’t see an Instagram video below, try selecting “visit site” from the menu.
I drew this in Procreate, and added text in Canva. I still haven’t figured out how to import fonts in Procreate. Canva has my favourite comic font though.
Another chibi creature makes its debut. I’ve got to start naming these guys. Any ideas?
This is one of my latest writing memes/sketches. I’ve been doing a lot of digital art lately, mainly because I’ve chosen to prioritize finishing my novel for now, and my ipad is much easier to whip out on a whim than my photography gear is. I will be getting back to microfiction (vss365, I miss you) and photography soon…but until I type the words “THE END”, it’s going to be a little sporadic.
For now, my focus is on listening to the angel on the left.
I’ve been MIA lately. I know it. You know it. Neither of us is proud of it. I’ve done it before, and most likely I will do it again. But just like Arnold Schwarzenegger in that one movie, I’ll be back.
It’s hard to remember how things got away from me this time. I believe there was some temporary glitch with WordPress where I couldn’t add tags to my post. I decided to wait a few days, let it pass. A few days turned into a few more. Then my archnemesis, procrastination, reared its ugly head.
As for what I’ve been doing while procrastinating…the answer is quite a lot, but not enough. Some of you may know from previous posts that I’ve been learning to draw in Procreate. I’ve also rebooted my Instagram page, through which I discovered the little cartoon sketches and memes others were posting. I decided to give it a go.
So here it is: one of my first sketches. It’s an ode to my lifelong nemesis. (Do not speak his name. You risk summoning him).
