leaves depart –
but I still hear their voices
in the mist
Written for Frank J Tassone’s Haikai Challenge
This haiku was inspired by the work of the late Rachel Sutcliffe:
autumn stroll
we pick blackberries
out of the mist
(Cattails, September 2014)
May her voice forever be heard.
Wonderful and appropriate tribute!
